Perhaps some dirt track buddies?

used to remove tread blocks from rally tires and the like.

Speedway sells them for $86. This is not the instant on version but they sell those also.

Yeah... the cheap ones are said to SUCK... exactly why I'm looking to borrow a more expensive one. I know speedway has some of those.

I"m not looking to purchase if I can avoid it.
