2012 Ice Cream Cruise

Date set for September 1st. Starting at Werner ball park and cruise to MAM for 1/8th mile drag and a small group will be street racing on the straight of the road course! There will be a DJ and vendor booths. I was wondering if the SCCA would be interested in setting up a vendor booth promoting local motorsports. The event on Facebook was posted yesterday and there is already almost 400 confirmed to attend in one day. There is over 2000 parking spots at the ball field to fill and I dont think there will be a problem doing so. I will have more details about sponsors and whatnot as we get closer to the event, its still 4.5 months away. There is also going to be special sections for exotics, bikes, and drag cars. I would like to get some race cars in there as well. Would love to see Mark Walkers car down there! If anyone knows anybody with an exotic, point them my direction. Thanks everyone!

Update: 1268 people confirmed to attend on Facebook. Going to be a combination of world of wheels and Americruise, only ten times bigger

This sounds like a lot of fun (wife and I went to Kearney Cruise last year)... is there any plan to group SCCA cars? (realizing there's the whole Subaru/EVO/etc factions which will probably want to maintain their alliances first and foremost)
